As a fair-skinned blonde, I don’t like the look of black mascara. This Deep Auburn mascara looks natural, is gorgeous, and is worth all of the hard work in finding it. They stopped carrying it in stores, so it was nice to find it here. Can’t say enough good things about this mascara. It makes lashes look GREAT!
What’s the difference between auburn and mahogany?
I’m looking Auburn Haircubed for the right hair dye for a reddish brown.Is auburn-brown more purple? and is mahogany more copper like?

I’ve been springing for the much more expensive light brown mascaras (blinc kiss – medium brown, and Trish McEvoy Auburn). I’m a strawberry blonde, and mascara is a necessary evil for me, but I can’t wear the darker shades and I hate it when i end up looking like a raccoon.
I do not regret the purchase, and i HIGHLY recommend it to other folks of similar coloring. Great price, no smudges, and great color (very natural).
My eyes are a blue/green and the auburn shade really makes them pop. Love it!
I had used this product for several years until a couple of years ago when it had disappeared from the shelves in the cosmetic aisles of all of our local stores. I was impressed to check for the product online, and so pleased when I found it, and they still have the color, Auburn, that I like. Though my eyelashes are naturally black, with my natural hair color being red, now faded to white, I prefer the softer color of mascara than the harsh black, or even “brownish black.”
The service was very quick.
Max factor Mascara is an excellent buy. I am a red-head, so there are not a lot of options in terms of mascara that doesn’t make me look scary. This mascara is the only brand I have found that carries a shade of red. I love it. I look great. I feel great. Max Factor Auburn Mascara is great! This product has been discontinued in all retail stores I have checked so I was glad to find it online. Thank you!
Great product and has been for years! It’s a shame that Max Factor is leaving the US product market and that their line will no longer be available here any more in the United States. BEWARE of price gougers who will offer this product for a single tube price of $5.99 and then tell you that it is not available at check out and then offer it for a bundle of three pricing at $25.99 and then send you 3 individually packaged tubes any way for the higher price. If the Discount seems Impossible, well it is. Expect to see the price of this product continue to increase as close out stocks are depleted.
This is my favorite brand of mascara, but I can no longer find the Deep Auburn in the stores. I was happy to find it on Amazon & will continue to order as long as possible.
LOVE THE PRODUCT, UNABLE TO FIND IT IN STORES. THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT THE PRODUCT EXPIRED 2 YRS AGO, NOT SO GOOD. I DON’T KNOW IF USING AN EXPIRED PRODUCT WILL RELAYY HARM ME, BUT I AM NOT TOO HAPPY.
I have tried many different at home kits and they all seem to have a pension for turning my hair bright orange or yellow so I usually go to the salon but hate the 5 hours it seems to take. Plus, the $200 bill when they are finished isn’t so grand. I decided to give this a shot and I absolutely loved it. Including prep time and the 10 minute set time it only took about 15 minutes. The downside was I didn’t care for the applicator brush because it was hard to run through my hair which is very long (need two boxes) so I just used my hands to apply the hair color. I also used it for root touch-up and again with the lacking in being meticulous I used my hands and applied to my roots which I thought could cause a problem since I was getting a little beyond my roots. It came out absolutely perfect though. My only real complaint is the color washes out of the occasional gray hair after about a month. If your hair is past shoulder length or thick definitely get two bottles to make sure you have enough.
I loved how fast this was so I tried it twice. However, it didn’t really cover my silver strands. I have black hair with some scattered silver and it only slighlty darkened the silver hair. I was a little frustrated becuase it looks like I still need to color it.
Wonderful product-I am allergic to most cosmetics and hair dyes, so this was my only alternative. If your hair is fine, cut the time required in half and don’t use heat. My color lasts for 3 months. Worth the effort and mess! (yes, quite messy, but all towels wash out beautifully with no stains!)
This pencil is the perfect color – it looks totally natural for people who have auburn or red hair.

Why are stores discontinuing this color? I am a natural redhead with blonde eyebrows and this is the only major brand that carries auburn. Thank god this seller has some left, I ordered a ton in case they are gone forever.
