My scalp is sensitive. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve discovered that less is more. I don’t like to put a lot of grease/spritz/holding spray, etc on my hair because it tends to exacerbate my itchy scalp condition. I’ve been using KeraCare Dry & Itchy scalp for four months now and I’m very pleased. It sooths my dry scalp and I don’t seem to have all of the flaking that I use to. It is very light and seems to just evaporate after some hours, unlike many other grease products which kind of sit there like vaseline. I’ve used many products before to alleviate my dry itchy scalp that didn’t make a difference. I find that washing my hair at least once a week and using KeraCare products and a moisterizing/conditioning shampoo have made a big difference. If you have color treated hair or use a lot of direct heat on your hair such as curling irons and flat irons, you need to deep condition your hair weekly. Tea tree shampoos are also soothing. want to know what the best way to stimulate hair regrowth is, somebody who was inexperienced overprocessed the entire Professional Scalp top layers of my hair when doing highlights. I know hair that is gone is gone, and I know damaged hair cannot be saved, just treated. How do I encourage new hair growth? I know all about the diet, nutrition, exercise, scalp massage etc etc.. Any other advice, besides “give it time”? I am really sad about it. every day I feel like it is just not getting better, thanks if you can help.

This product definitely gives a great shine and is not heavy but I found no relief in my itchy scalp or dandruff. Since using, I don’t have as much dandruff but it seems the flakes I now have are larger. In fact, after using it, it actually makes my scalp itch. If you want a good shine but no relief with your dry and itchy scalp, go for it. Otherwise, leave it be.

After getting my hair relaxed after 4 years, I knew I wanted to keep up the shiny glow of a fresh wash. Just a small dab of the glossifier makes my hair gleam. Its shiny, soft and and so very moist. I love this product and actually ordered a second so I would not run out.
I’m not one to believe the hype of marketing and advertising but I’ve used Nioxin for years and find that my hair has significantly stopped thinning and my hairline seems to have stopped in its tracks. I’ve also noticed, strangely, that I have less gray! I don’t know if it’s a result of using the shampoo and conditioner but either way, I’m glad. My room mate used it while he was staying with me between jobs and thought that it thickened his hair. If you have thinning hair, I recommend giving it a try. For me, it works!
Seems to make my hair shiny. Can’t speak to its ability to stop hair loss because I didn’t really track it although I feel better after using it since at least I’m trying to stop hair loss.
The vendor I bought this from diluted the product with water by about 50%. This order was sold by Amazon – so I do not know the supplier. I have used this product for years and I know that it has a very thick almost pasty consistancy. What I got was watery.
The Nioxin Scalp Therapy Conditioner works extremely well with my fine hair! After using it for a few weeks my hair has noticeable gotten thicker and is stronger. It feels good and looks fantastic!
