I have super thin caucasian hair that breaks and falls out a lot. I did some research on this product and bought it in mid July right after I cut about 3 inches of my hair because it was so damaged. My hair has already grown back to where it was. It’s also super soft and feels stronger. I use about 15 drops after i wash my hair. I use 5 for the bottom, 5 for the middle and 5 for the top and them comb my hair to make sure the product is distributed evenly. I use it about 3-4 times a week and on the days that I use it, I let my hair air dry and add a little mousse so that I don’t overkill my hair again. So far it has worked great. Just make sure you don’t get too exited and use too much at one time because it is an oil and it will make caucasian hair look greasy.

I have been using Rogaine for about 8 years. I would not even think of not replacing it when I’m running low. Without this, my hair would be GONE. Rogaine works, and I consider having a supply of it as necessary as toothpaste. It’s very easy to use and once you have used it for a few days, it becomes just part of your morning getting ready routine. If you have thinning hair, this is for you. Buying it online is the most cost effective way to get it.
This product works very well at stopping hair loss, and does minimally enhance new growth. Because it’s colorless and fragrance free, it’s less likely to discolor hair.
The twice a day application leaves my hair greasy and flat looking- not worth any possible results as you have to use it forever or any gain is lost and meanwhile your hair looks awful
Bought it for my aunt, she has been using this for a while now, she claimed that it work very well. This is a great price compare to outside source.

negative thing I have to mention about the product is the smell. The smell is strong, due to olive oil and other oils combine and I think you should use it at night.
I’m bi racial. Which means I have a combination of two types of hairs. With this product after using it for almost 2 months it made my hair grow about 3 inches so far. I can feel the new growth from my root of my hair. The only thing is it does smell funny..but I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world. It works and I will keep using the product. Just apply a little bit.. Not too much because they your hair is really oily… and can be quite uncomfortable.
This stuff is great for making hair soft and bringing breakage to a minimum. This is for afro textured hair whether you’re bi-racial or both parents are black. This is best for people w/ thick hair esp. if it’s dry. My best friend has very straight hair. She is black but has hair similar to spaniards. This stuff does not work w/ her hair type. But is great for my coarse thick hair not to be confused w/ kinky. Kinky has to do with the curl pattern where as coarse is more of a texture and how thick someone’s hair is. Anyway read the bottle and use as you need nothing more. Do not glob it on thinking it is magic grease that will have your hair growing 10 inches with every application.
Oil is to heavy and thick to leave on hair for more than 1-2 days. Does not have a “fresh” smell as advertised. Just another rip-off product targeting the many who suffer from thinning hair due to health or genetic factors.
I have been taking this vitamins for 3 months. Hair no difference, but nails are growing like crazy and are very strong.
My hair grows nicely but I cut it recently and wanted it to grow back quickly. These pills didnt work at all I followed directly as it said. Complete waste of time and money all it did was mess with my bladder every day I took the pills I pee’d like 15X’s a day seriously!!!! Soon as I stopped my bladder went back to normal.
I have only been using this product for two weeks and it really does seem to be working! I wish I had’ve kept the receipt because they do reimburse. If you do some research on the ingredients some of them will cause drastic side effects. Also, it is a pain to try to swallow them three times a day. I havn’t been able to see any true progress and I had them for a week, although I havn’t actually took three a day. All in all due to the side effects, I say no!
Did not receive the product so I can’t rate it. I received a product that I didn’t order instead. I have returned the product for a refund. Amazon was very punctual in arranging for the return of the product.
I’m an African-American male. I am using Spectral DNC along with Ajuven H2G hair growth capsules and the Revita DS Labortories hair shampoo since about March 2010.
I’ve had transplants done, too many to count which should not have been done in that way. Many surguries depletes the donor area, etc. So my hair has thin areas, especially the back, and thin on top and areas where the hair grafts took.
The Spectral goes on easy, not irritating. Along with the other products, my hair has gotten longer and seems fuller. Now, if you lost hair completely in areas, where the scalp is smooth, like my case, this means you’ve lost the hair follicles and nothing will grow. I knew this and this is true based on my using these products these past months.
I would recommeded Special DNC though. I think it may be working some. But as I mentioned earlier, I’m also using two other hair produtcs also.
This stuff worked pretty good for me. I have been using it for about a month now and I can tell it made a difference in my hair as I started to see little hair growing on the upper part of my forehead.
I was part of a 90 days hair regrowrh study for DS Labs where I voluntarily came in twice a day to have this product applied to my scalp. I have to say that this product truly works for me. I was a former Rogaine user.
I’m 28 years old, male, mixed ancestry Black African, White Greek, French, who has tightly curled hair. Before the treatment I had baldness that ran from the front of my hairline to the crown of my head in a S-shaped pattern (it actually resembled an Asian dragon artwork). I had been diagnosed with sebhorrec dermatitis, which may have been the cause my initial hair loss.
As I began the study, I didn’t notice any growth. I was advised to keep doing the same things I usually do after each treatment with the product. So I continued my normal regimen of washing my hair with Neutrogena T Gel shampoo (to thwart off scalp flaking due to my sebhoric dermatitis), three hours after using spectral.
About a month into using it I started to notice vellus hairs (baby hairs) filling in the bald areas of my scalp. Two months later, I noticed more baby hairs growing where my old hairline used to be, and the previous baby hairs were becoming terminal hairs (adult hairs). After the third month of using I noticed a substantial amount of thicker hair in the bald regions of my scalp. I’m more comfortable going out to clubs without wearing a baseball cap.
Things I’d like to mention:
I usually sport a low cut hairstyle, and I brush my hair straight and forward using boar bristle brushes a lot before using this product. As my hair started to grow I realized that I was actually making my hair look thinner by brushing forward. I realized this when i took a comb from my hairline backwards against the grain and saw a lot of the new growth hiding under older longer hairs. Now I brush my hair 30 degrees mirror left, which gives my hair a fuller look.
I live in Miami Beach. If you have to go out into the sun after using this product, I recommend putting some sunscreen on your scalp or wearing a hat to protect the skin on your scalp, as it is now more sensitive to the sun since using this product.
I also noticed that my scalp hasn’t been as flaky since using Spectral DNC with TGel shampoo (it’s probably the healing effects of the copper peptides at work). I currently wash my hair first in the morning, then apply my Spectral DNC, then do the same before going to bed.
