    I am a 50-year old female who is a few months into menopause. I started having perimenopausal symptoms about 10-years ago and the doctor put me on birth control pills to help with the symptoms. This did help but I didn’t like the thought of taking the BCP because of other health considerations so every once in awhile I’d go off of them and my symptoms would return….but this was by far a perfect solution. I also am big into supplementation and have tried just about every vitamin, herb, mineral, etc. out there and have not found anything that I thought made much of a difference – until now. I’ve only been taking this (and the raw thyroid) for about a week but I find that I’m not as tired. I work nights as an RN and usually I just kind of lay around during the day trying to sleep – never seeming to get enough rest – always dragging but this week (and it seems to be building on itself) I am rested after only a few hours of sleep – I’ve never been able to sleep well but now my few hours seems to be enough….I just started Melatonin in an effort to perhaps get a bit more sleep. Anyway, I haven’t felt like doing much of anything for years but today I got out my balance ball and tapes and exercised – I walked the dog this morning and didn’t resent and dread it – I enjoyed it! I really didn’t expect much from this because I’ve tried a lot of things that didn’t work but so far this seems to be making me feel great!

    This is an ok thyroid supplement. I haven’t gotten any lab work since I have been taking but am dubious about how much it will affect my TSH. I currently take nature throid dessicated thyroid from my doctor and that does work amazingly well

    I began using this product in the Spring to loose a couple pounds for the Summer. Well, let me tell you, this product does produce results in a very short time. Although, the product was working, I noticed my heart began racing within a week time frame. I was suspect that it was increasing my blood pressure as I could hear my heart pounding at night. Also, the final straw was I went to the doctor for a routine exam and discovered my pressure was sky high to the point that she took it three times. She asked what I was taking and told me to stopped immediately. In addition, she had me return in three days to take my pressure again. The results were much better and almost, I repeat, almost normal!! PLEASE CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE TAKING THIS PRODUCT!!

    I have always been satisfied with NOW products. This product seemed to work for a slightly underactive thyroid in helping metabolism and feeling better throughout the day. Not an immediate effect, but definitely over time. Some people commented on a rise in blood pressure- the label clearly states not to take it if you are taking certain other medications such as anti-depressant; I believe those drugs interact with the tyrosine in this product to have that affect. We all need to read labels better, I guess. Overall, though, satisfied with the product, and glad that I can now get it in 2 days with Amazon Prime when I need to refill.

    Now is a great company . This product is reasonably priced and has all the needful things for a thyroid to get started. You won’t need to use it forever, it is part of the building. I lost weight without dieting but cut way back on sugar and eliminated all high fructose corn syrup. Over the winter I lost 20 pounds. I ate all that I wanted. I was not dieting but I was concerned about diabetes as well. No symptoms of diabetes either. I’ve had to buy new clothes. I highly recommend this product.

    I was told that this would be great for my hot flashes. However, I did not see a lot of change in the hot flashes. It does seem to make my blood pressure rise. I already have high blood pressure and this made me double up on my medication. It is just not for me!

    This thyroid medicine really works. I started with 3 a day and am now down to 2 on my 4th month. I think one more month and I will be finished. Try it instead of synthetic stuff!

    I had hoped that this supplement would allow me to get away from taking levothyroxine (Synthriod). It didn’t work out that way, but I have to admit that, for the fist 6 months, the condition of my hair, skin, and nails did improve. My nails were stronger and less brittle, and my hair was fuller and softer than it has been in a while. Oh, and I was able to lose some of the weight that the Synthriod packed on! My doctor has me back on Synthroid again, but I am considering getting more of Gaia’s TS and trying a smaller dose (one a day or every other day) to see if it will have the some of the same results, even while taking the regular medication. I’ve read good reviews from people who say they were able to avoid going on a thyroid medication by taking this. For me, I think that the results were very promising, but I had already been on the med too long to be able to quit effectively. If you’re not on a thyroid medication yet, but your doctor has suggested it, you might try this for a few months, first.
