I feed my dogs 2 different kinds of food, can i switch one cold turkey while i introduce a new?
The current dry formula im feeding them [spot's stew salmon formula] is not doing any good. my dog itches like crazy and is losing his hair like no other. he’s had this problem since i adopted him 3 years ago and ive tried EVERYTHING from steroids to antibiotics to completely whole foods to benedryl….nothing works. the other food i give them is the VITAL salmon formula made by deli fresh/ fresh pet, which they get just once a day. the VITAL is an actual log of meat that is refridgerated, no corn soy eggs grains…so im pretty sure this isnt the culprit to my dogs excessive hair loss. the spots stew, however, has eggs and oats and things that seem as if they’d be allergy educing. the food i want to move to is called orijen [6 fish formula].
