Well, it did rid my hair of dandruff. I use it ever other shampoo and it seem to work very well in keeping my head dandruff free. In between using L’Occitane, I use a brand name shampoo that has a conditioner in it.

What replaces Parachute After Shower Anti-dandruff Hair cream in US ?
In India, I used Parachute After Shower Anti-dandruff Haircream. Hair Anti Dandruff Recently I moved to US and I forgot to take some stock along with me. In US, I am really confused what is used for what ????? So what would be the ideal replacement for the able product ?I usually grow long hair, So I mainly use it to make my hair non-sticky.

    Since I bought this product, I refuse to use anything else! It works brilliantly at thickening my thin hair and makes it feel amazing. Love it!

    I have to say that I have tried EVERY shampoo out on the market. This one by far is the bestI have used to date. It leaves my hair with that “clean” feeling and my scalp feels alive everytime I use it. I have been using it for three months now and I love it. My wife also uses it now as well and she is VERY picky.

    A $20.00 bottle of shampoo seems a little steep but I have tried everything else on the market and I don’t see any visible results. Its been 3 weeks since I started using it and even though it has help with my dryness, the itching still there and I have not noticed any change as far as hair loss.

    I ordered the DR after using the NT for a couple weeks. I don’t have many bald spots but my hairline has been thinning out with age. I gotta say after a few weeks of using DR my hair is thicker and fuller in my problem areas. No extreme ingredients that would leave your hair dry and dusty like other hairloss shampoos. Leaves your scalp feeling tingly, great for the morning wakeup :)

    Definetly ordering a few more bottles. Best shampoo hands down!

    I have had an itcy/flaky scalp my entire adult life. I believe my proper diagnosis is ’seborrheic dermatitis’, but the bottom line is that my scalp itches, is red in the itchy spots, and those places flake off. Sweat/humidity seems to make this worse.

    I have tried all the major dandruff shampoo cures: pyrithione zinc (Head and Shoulders), coal tar (T/gel), salicilic acid (Dermarest) and ketoconazole (Nizoral). I have even experimented with using these shampoos in different combinations. Nizoral is by far the best single treatment for me. I normally use it every 2-3 days, but anytime I get itchy more often (usually the result of working out or anything that makes me sweat) I use Nizoral and I’m fine.

    For me, the absolute best treatment seems to be lathering with coal tar (T/Gel), rinsing, then using Nizoral. I do this probably 25% of the time. Otherwise, I just use Nizoral.

    It is a really good product to remove dandruff when I first use it!
    However, After 1 to 2 month, the dandruff comes back again.

    I had used it for the past 10 years. Amazon sales two 7 oz for $21 with free shipping that was the lower price I could find. This shampoo work for me. Try it for a month you will love it.
