I have thick short hair. About an hour after applying this product my hair felt and looked gross. It was sticky and clumped. I didn’t use very much product, as instructed. Maybe it works for thinner hair, but with my hair it felt and looked terrible. Cheap LA looks from Target works better, except for the flaking.

How to control extreme frizzy hair?
I have naturally wavy hair with moderate curls Extreme Hair but my hair is so frizzy and dry.. I tried all these shampoos, conditioners, hairspray, gel, and frizz serum but nothing is working.. Please help me.. Thanks.

This has got to be one of my favorite products EVER. I wear my hair in a fohawk (mostly spiked) and this product does EVERYTHING I want it to! That includes increasing texture quite a bit, requires minimal styling to get the desired look, and EXTREME hold that requires no hairspray! This is the only product I can use BY ITSELF and be happy with the results. Due to its extreme hold and texture, I would definitely say this product is best suited for short hair (mens hair for example) with extreme styles such as spiking or the messy look.

As another reviewer said, this product is very thick. It takes some getting used to and there are a few tricks which I will explain. I prefer the product on dry hair, as the style takes immediately rather than waiting for the hair to dry. (Try it with damp and dry hair, and see what works best for you) It is stretchy, similar to chewing gum, which makes it great for reworking throughout the day/night. Start with a small amount, literally about the size of a dime. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING: work this product between your hands by rubbing them together before putting it in your hair. After 20-30 seconds, the friction and heat of rubbing will make the product less stringy and more workable. This also prevents small clumps of the product from getting caught in your hair. Once the product has smoothed out, apply to your hair as desired. Remember, you don’t need a lot — and you can always add more later. And personally, the less I “tweak” my hair after adding the product, the better the result. This is literally something you can throw in your hair, and your hair will instantly go and stay whichever way you put it.

Overall, this is a great product when you want extreme hold and texture. It claims to add a lot of shine, but I would say it is more on the matte side (although not as matte as d:fi’s pliable molding cream). It smells great and is hardly sticky at all after setting. Keep in mind this is a heavy duty product meant for extreme styles, so if you have long hair or don’t spike or do anything crazy, this may not be right for you. Otherwise, try it out and enjoy it! Definitely highly recommended.

This stuff is AMAZING. It smells good (like melon), holds well, goes in even, and stays all day. I have fairly thin, short hair and it thickens very nicely and makes my hair actually manageable. A small dime size amount rubbed around after drying my hair makes it unbelievably easy to style. I can’t say enough good things about it. I’ve tried so many other molding creams, waxes, gels and nothing comes close to this.

This is for people who want a dry and flawlessly spiked ‘do. It very closely resembles partially dried glue and takes an extremely small amount to do my whole head. I’ve tried a ton of different creams and gels and this is my favorite by far. For thick, heavy hair, this is the way to go for the spiked matte look.

This is the greatest hair product ever, hands down.

Here is how I use it:
Right after you get out of the shower, when your hair is nice and wet, take a small amount of this stuff and work it through your hair. (a little goes a long way). Then blow dry and style. And if you need to, a little hair spray to freeze anything in place

I swear, you can do anything with this stuff

My wife has always had brittle hair, she also likes having long hair and the two aren’t a good match. After looking for a long time and using other leave in conditioners we tried this. It was bought locally but we can save money buying through Amazon, so next time we will. She cut her hair shoulder length and she started using the anti-snap leave in conditioner. Then we bought the Redken Extreme Shampoo and Conditioner. so far her hair is less and less brittle. What used to be a ton of hair in the drain is now just a few strands after 2 weeks of anti-snap and one week of the Extreme shampoo and conditioner. She has tried so many shampoos and conditioners and most were awful. She loves this leave in conditioner because it’s not oily and her hair feels light after using it. She wets down her hair and put it on everyday before work. That might seem excessive but it hasn’t been above 18 degrees F in a while, and many nights are below zero so the air is super dry. Redken makes some great stuff and my wife loves it. You would not believe the difference between then and now.
It really works! If your hair is brittle this along with the shampoo and conditioer should put an end to it.

Extreme anti-snap is fab for your natural curly/wavy hair – I use it as the first step in my daily hair routine after showering. After towel-drying, I apply it followed by KMS California Curl-up balm – working both in with my fingers to re-shape the curl and comb through. After air drying or diffusing (20-30 min later), I use the Organix Shea butter liquid glass serum to smooth the frizz, and BOY! I look fab!!!

I have dyed mahogany/red wavy curls so with this product I a protective conditioning layer which allows my fingers to comb through my hair.

I never use a pick, comb or, brush – just my fingers.

Overall, my review is for people with curly hair — anti-snap is a good foundation for your hair.

P.S. I’ve also found shampooing my curly hair once a week works best, but I do deep condition every other day and just rinse my hair in the shower when it feels itchy.

After being really sick, my hair was very fragile and began to fall out, so I went to my hairdresser to get it cut short and to see if there was anything I could do to stop the breaking. She recommended this product and I’m so glad she did. I apply it to my hair everyday after my shower and my hair has been a lot stronger and has stopped falling out entirely. This product really does work. An added bonus? A woman stopped me at the gym and told me my hair smelled wonderful and asked me what I was using. If you want to have great-smelling, strong hair, I would highly recommend this product.

I put this on just my ends and it really helps, especially because I’m growing my hair longer. It doesn’t make your hair too soft (hate that!), it’s just right. Love it!

I decided to grow my hair long, my hairstylist recommended this because it coats the ends (where your hair is the thinnest and weakest). I use this product once a week, and sometimes sleep in it as a hair mask and wash it out in the morning. Each (5)tube I can use around 3-4 times to only coat the ends or 2-3 times to coat all my hair. Brush it through with a wide-toothed comb.

Amazing product that has made my hair healthier, shinier, and softer and has allowed me to go an extra few weeks between trims. I highly recommend this product.
