I really like this! I bought it for my husband but now I love it. My hair is definetly thicker. I did add the conditioner because my husband saw a big difference when he used the whole system.

how would you handle it if people have thoughts & perceptions of you that are not to your liking?
basically, ive endured a very difficult, traumatic unfortunate life so far, im nearly 31 and physically look everyone of those years and older, the stress of my life has taken a toll and aged me prematurely..my life has been unenviable so far meaning; not many people would wish to have walked in my shoes at all or be in my situation.i failed at secondary school, suffered taunts, bullying ( throughout ), never mixed well , went through 3 secondary schools and ended up dropping out..im now nearly 31 and have missed out on ; forming relationships – getting an education , getting qualifications ; living my life , being employed – i have a criminal record going 7 years back – been sectioned in a mental hospital -suffered head injuries in a street attack because i lost control of rage in 1997 , had my head split open with a chair leg – suffered homelessness in salvation army for 12 months..my life has been a living nightmare so far.in the present i live in a one bed-roomed flat on disability, Hair Loss Symptoms Men own very few possessions, the main 1 my computer, – reliant on mental health services – their offering me occupational therapy to integrate me back into society , ive been alienated and reclusive half my adult life – missed out on everything.i was diagnosed with bpd personality disorder 2 years ago & ptsd symptoms – had a big problem with rage outbursts years ago , managed it well for years..asked for psychotherapy but the resources for it are not available in my areai worry alot and for a while what people are thinking about me , the opinions they hold and the perceptions their giving to others , because might determine where people like and accept me or not ?-i have become very bitter , angry , reclusive , reserved aloof – even though i dont want to be like that.- have aged badly , not happy with my looks , im bald , looking into hair loss solutions, have 2 missing teeth because of an accident years ago -( head butted a window )- people in my local community are cold , aloof , standoffish , my mum said maybe its because their ‘ wary ‘ because of my rage problems in the past and my aloof attitude ive had for all my life to society.- some people treat me i feel as a charity case, a pitiful figure , a person to rally around and feel sorry for, or as a spring board to feel better about their own lives, women patronizee me talk down to me , demean me on samaritans helplines like im some old geriatric person dying who needs comfort and help..im scared people might think things or percieve like ‘ hes a disturbed loner ” a desperate broken needy man ” somebody disturbed not to associate with ‘ etci dont know for a fact that people percieve this only that they might do based on how i feel society acts towards me.people in society, in supermarkets give me funny lingering looks , are aloof , stand- offish with me – are abrupt with me , patronize and demean me with words , being condescended etc.i worry theres a stereotype about me , that im too known to people or peope are over familiar with me and think they no me , so then they try to give a perception to me to others ?how do i handle that ?

I tried this for 6 months and found out that I had wasted $450. This is a product sold to people that hope to prevent hair loss and are gullible enough to pay this kind of money for it. Further more, the device started going off intermittently as the application was proceeding — when I checked with the terms of the warranty it said that I have to mail it in (who knows when one would have seen it back again) there was not a phone number to call the manufacturere and the warranty sheet said that it was only good for one year. $450 and a warranty that is only good for one year? having problems after 6 months? No phone number to call? no service representative? As I said I sincerely believe that this device was made to cash in on people’s hope and it would not worth even $10 — and I believe that the people who are selling it figured that if you put a high price on it, many people would think that it must be some sort of an effective gadget that is worth this much — by the time they figure out that they were had, the sellers are laughing somewhere in Hawaii!!!.

We paid a lot more than $400 for the comb when it first came out more than 5-7? yrs ago. If your hairs are just about all gone, this is not going to help you get them back. But if you start on Rogaine + the comb at the first sign of serious hair loss, you will get to keep somewhere around 75% to 90% of what you have right now. BTW–don’t buy store brand/generic Rogain, they don’t work as well as the real stuff.

I purchased the HairMax LaserComb back in the beginning of January as my new year resolution to deal with my hair loss problem. It has been 3 and a 1/2 month since then, I now really see the results!

    Two recommendations:

    1. Be consistent – stick to the plan. 15 minutes every two days for dealing with the frustration hair loss issue? Totally worthy! I personally also take those 15 minutes as the time for mind relaxation, I usually use the comb before my bedtime, I really calm me down. Remember my friend, being frustrated is one of the reasons of hair loss

    2. I use it combined with the use of the 101 hair follicle nourishing, a Chinese brand tonic. Hair loss is not the end of the world to me, loosing sexual drive or damaging liver is (by using the oral drugs), therefore, I chose the non-invasive HairMax LaserComb. The 101 hair tonics really go with it. I use the comb first, as indicated in the instruction – don’t block the laser, then applying the tonics.

My wife says I did have some new hairs coming out, I personally feel that the hairs are more manageable and I totally feel much less hair fall out during shampooing.

I will continue using it and can’t wait to see the results in couple more months.

I have very little good to say. It does not and will never treat “hairloss” so save your money. Its ridiculously expensive for what it is and very cheaply made too. If anything, I had to have my hair cut more because it grew faster…..but NO EXTRA HAIR!!!!! Dont be conned.

They told me at Lexington that if I stopped using it, my hair would revert to how it was before using the Lasercomb and could be much worse. So you “can never stop once you start”. This is rubbish too. My hair is fine and i stopped using it over a year ago.

Its not a hairloss treatment and never will be. I’m sorry people but there is NO cure until gene therapy is more mainstream. SAVE YOU MONEY AND DEAL WITH THE TRUTH! At least for now once its gone…..its gone.

Do not buy this product if you’d like to retain your hair! You shed hair like crazy after using this product. I purchased two bottles of this stuff, and only utilized about half of the first bottle before I ended up tossing them away. The bottles arrived leaking, just like other reviewers have noted as well. I’ve actually had great luck with two other shampoos, one of which is available here on Amazon – check them out – Your Crown and Glory Shampoo, and the other is L-Carnitine Shampoo by Hewley (available on Amazon). Both these products have helped with a healthy scalp, in turn growing new hairs! I’ve had people comment about how thick my hair is getting, and about the continued new hair growth! Stay away from the Revita, but try the others! Good luck!

I have been using this product for over one and half year with good results when I first started using it in the beginning of 2009.

If I were to rate it in 2009 I would have given it 5 stars. However, based on recent purchases (past 6 months) the product consistency has varied a lot and the product has become more watery and does not stop hair loss any more… the hair have started shedding again. I will tell you that the prior product had stopped hair loss and some hair growth was also noticeable.

I have been patiently waiting to see if the quality improves… but have not seen any improvement yet.

Product container in 2009 had a rounded top and the packaging said “Made in USA”. If I remember correctly, it was manufactured in Miami Florida. Recently the company has switched to a flat top packaging and the packaging says “Assembled in USA from imported materials”. I am guessing this is the reason for poor quality.

The prior consistency was thicker shampoo with reddish orange color which required a pea sized quantity that produced enough lather. The newer product is too watery and has a lighter orange color. You need two to three times the quantity to get the same amount of lather.

Bottom line… the quality has deteriorated and product is not effective anymore.

This has to be the worst and most expensive shampoo that I’ve ever used. My hair began falling out when i started using this but i figured i would keep going since it said your hair might fall out for the first couple of weeks. Its been a little over a month now and i just finished my first bottle of revita. My hair is still falling out and if anything its gotten progressively worse. I had low to moderate hair loss before i started using this, now its high (15+ hairs fall per shower). I am giving this another chance, but i am buying the roundtop bottle to see if its any better and if my hair doesn’t stop falling out then that will be my last revita purchase ever. Its not even a good shampoo, it dries up and tangles my hair and on some parts it doesn’t even come off completely from the water so it feels like gel in my hair. Although i’m beginning to see patches of hair loss on my head, the shampoo is giving my hair more volume which is the only pro to it (somehow i feel its not worth the sacrifice). I will write another review when i’m done with the second one, i’m hoping it gets better.

My hair started thinning when I was 18 and I have always had a very dry scalp. I bought this along with some minoxidil to try and stop my hair from thinning. I have used Head and Shoulders for my dry scalp for years. Since I started using this I have not used the H&S once. For me it is a great shampoo that I will continue to purchase regardless of the hair growth properties. Both my wife and me have noticed that my hair does seem a little bit thicker but I dont see it growing like crazy.

I’ve been using this product for over 10 years and all I can say is that it does work.

I discontinued its use for a couple of months and got bald. As soon as I restarted to use it, I noticed much of my lost hair was growing back.

I know it doesn’t work the same for everyone, but in my case, I happen to be one strong candidate.
