I love this product. It makes my hair smooth and shiny no matter what the weather is like. I have tried other brands of haircare products and keep coming back to this one.
Help! What to do about dry curly hair?
Okay, so here’s the situation, I have pretty thin hair, but it’s really curly, frizzy, and dry. When I don’t do anything to it (just wash it and let it dry), it becomes a massive poof-ball and I hate it. I’ve been using hair gel, leave in conditioner, anti-frizz products, and just a vast array of different things. I feel like I’ve tried it all, and nothing really works that well. It takes me hours in the morning to do anything that looks even remotely decent and no matter how good Thinning Hair Intensive it looks, it get’s really frizzy within a few hours. I’ve tried to straighten it with blow dryers, straighteners, and just about every other tool out there, you name it, I’ve probably tried it. Anyway, this stuff just makes my hair into a disgusting poof-ball again. Not straight, frizzy, dry, and icky. I think the problem is that my hair is too dry, I’ve tried so many intensive conditioners and what-not, but nothing seems to help. What can I do? I’ve been thinking about trying a relaxer, but will that actually help? Or will it just make it poofy and awful? I want to have nice, straight, hair, but if that’s not possible I’d be happy with curly hair that was nice. Anyway, is there anything I can do? Other than the really expensive straightening (Japanese, thermal, ect, ect)? Because I just don’t have the money for that right now.Oh, and one more thing, the only store anywhere near my home is wal*mart. And the little salon in there, so what can I get? I realize that it’s mostly trial and error, but I want a clue where to start.

I was recommended this from my stylist and I admit, I was doubtful. My hair is very thick and tends to be on the coarse side. I have tried so many products to try to straighten my wavy hair without weighing it down or making it feel dry. If you use the correct amount for length of hair this makes your hair feel like silk. It may take a few tries to get the amount correct because if you overdo it just a little your hair will feel flat and kind of weighed down. Once you have the correct amount to use worked out you will be totally addicted to this stuff!
I just received this product last Tuesday, and it is awesome, no lie! AS an African American woman I thought for sure this was just going to be another product that I wasted money on, but it was well worth the $50. I am transitioning from relaxers and my hair is healthier than it has ever been in years, but I had a problem seeing growth due to dryness and breakage of my ends. So I needed something to protect my ends and this stuff does the trick, when I first applied it I thought I applied too much because an hour later I touched my hair and it felt really greasy so I just knew my hair was going to be a greasy mess in the morning when I flat ironed it. But it wasn’t it was soft silky and just unbelievable. I will be purchasing more, I know its expensive but for a healthy head of good growing hair it is well worth the purchase. I finally found a product that works well with my natural hair.
I started using the products, basically the shampoo every day and in a week I started loosing less hair than before and in two weeks almost no hair loss. I know because I have a mesh that I clear in my shower to see the amount of hair loss with every wash. Then, without using the products every day or twice a day, how instructions read, I started growing a considerable amount of hair in my front and sides where I have been applying it. Really wonderful!!! I had allopecia areata in the front and is working there also!!!!
This product is awful! It comes in a 3-step system, with the shampoo being the first step. Apparently, the 1st step is all you need for thinning hair. I thought this product was supposed to HELP thinning hair?! Nope! It CAUSES it! I have thinning hair and decided to try this. Well, each time I used the shampoo, my hair started coming out in clumps! When I use Head & Shoulders shampoo, my hair is just fine. After a few tries with this Regenetresse shampoo, I knew it was the shampoo and not my hair that was the problem. So, if you want to go bald eventually, go ahead and buy this product. If you have thinning hair, however, you would have much better luck with some Head & Shoulders shampoo followed by Rogaine. The other 2 steps of the program didn’t do anything for me.
