I’m a female and natural redhead with very fine long hair..plus my age (late 40s) has brought thinning hair. I’ve tried many products for thinning hair and/or those advertising adding more body. This is the best shampoo I’ve found..I’m thrilled it builds body in my hair so well. I also use a very mild conditioner from avon which is not for body. My hair is soft and full..it feels and looks so good. We all know what works for one person might not work for another, but this is worth a try.

Do I need to be a certain age to take Biotin Vitamins for hair?
I’m 15 years old. A lot Hair Vitamins Biotin of people say that the Biotin 5000 mcg were really good but I’m not sure if I’m old enough. Also for anybody that takes them, what does it do to your hair. Is it really good?

    My husband loves this shampoo. It leaves your hair shiney but feeling clean without any added build up. Also, it is organic and has no harmful ingredients. Aubrey has an awesome line of products from body lotion to shampoo etc.

    This was sent in a reasonable amount of time too!

    Due to scalp irritations, I had been seeking a shampoo that didn’t contain chemicals known to cause such irritations, yet would still give my thinning hair body, without build-up. I am very pleased with Aubrey Organics Men’s Stock Biotin Shampoo. It met all of my requirements.

    From an ingredient standpoint, it is fragrance free, and added fragrances are possible sources of skin irritation, so I was pleased that a fragrance was not part of the ingredients. However, due to the natural components of the shampoo, it does have a fairly strong, “woodsy” type odor that does dissipate when the shampoo is rinsed out. This is the only reason I gave the product a four star rather than a five star review.

    Nice product not much complaint besides when I first used it my hair was a bit tangled and a little dry. Yet when I used the shampoo two weeks after my first usage, I did an overnight prepoo that helped the shampoo and detangling process feel much better.

    Jason organic biotin shampoo really works wonders for fine hair . Hair is stronger, healthier and smells nice .

    I was curious about trying the shampoo after reading one reviewer that is African American like me and I was very surprised. The shampoo really works well for African American type of hair. It not only left my long coarse hair soft but manageable and it the smell lasted in my hair so long. The smell is not over perfumey like a lot of shampoos. I like the smell actually. I did not buy it from Amazon but from a Natural Alternative store. And yes I would buy it again and continue to use it.

    I haven’t bought this shampoo yet, but while all the raves about this shampoo almost made me buy this one, I somehow got suspicious about the good reviews (thought too good to be true). So I did some search about biotin and here’s what wikipedia entry of biotin says:

    “Biotin is often recommended for strengthening hair and nails. Consequently, it is found in many cosmetics and health products for the hair and skin, though it cannot be absorbed through the hair or skin itself.

    Biotin deficiency is rare, as, in general, intestinal bacteria produce an excess of the body’s recommended daily requirement. For that reason, statutory agencies in many countries, for example the USA and Australia, do not prescribe a recommended daily intake of biotin.”

    If this is true, it’s very likely that biotin contained in shampoos, conditioners (not just this one) won’t do much for hair growth, thickening.

    There is no such thing as a shampoo that will make your hair grow nor will any add natural thickness to your hair. These claims are totally unwarranted and without merit. Incidentally the back of the bottle states that this will: maintain a healthy scalp, nourish follicles, help restore thinning hair, strengthen hair strands and boost body and volume. I use this shampoo because it is very mild and has a nice fragrance (lemon). It is certified organic by Quality Assurance International and by BioAgriCert (a company in Italy). I wish Avalon (the brand that manufactures this) would have taken a little bit more care in the packaging, it’s just a bottle with a lid that anyone can open up (there isn’t any safety seal around the top and the lid can come completely off unlike other big-name brands). Biotin is not the main ingredient in this (it is the 9th listed), some of the other ingredients include: organic aloe barbadensis leaf juice (2nd ingredient), soy protein, citric acid, potassium sorbate and organic rosemary officinalis. This is not 14 ounces though. I thought the bottle looked a little small (compared to my Pantene which is only 12.6) and found it to be barely 12 ounces. When I contacted Amazon they quickly issues me a partial refund for the mistake. Even with the rebate they offered me this is still a little pricey. But if you want a light shampoo without a lot of harsh chemicals then you may want to try this.

    This shampoo is loaded with Biotin which strengthens your hair. It also helps your hair to grow thicker as well. I encourage others to read about Biotin & start using it.

    I can not say enough good things about this shampoo. I’ve used lots of other brands including, Natures Gate, Pantene, Garnier, Biolage, Treseme, Head and Shoulders and on and on. I love this shampoo. It’s natural, cleans well, yet doesn’t dry out my scalp. I can even skip a couple of days between washing. It works really well with it’s conditioner. Finally my hair is healthy, shiny and clean. When this bottle runs out, I will try Jason’s Thin to thick shampoo line.

    I started using Jason’s shampoo years ago when my hair started thinning. After a month I could tell a real difference in the health of my scalp. I now have very healthy shiny hair and no more split ends!! This (and other versions of Jason’s shampoo) reduced my oily scalp and dry hair–recommend it all the time. I particulary like the Peach in the summertime and Jojoba in the winter. The hand soap is also great for dry winter skin.

    Vitamin Shoppe delivered quickly and had a great price. I have used Biotin Shampoo since 2001 when I discovered it in a health food store in New York. It is gentle on my hair and has a nice fragrance. Happy to have found an internet site that sells it!
