Instant info and tips on Hairpiece Hair System

Does not work as good as the individual pre-cut pieces of supertape, hard to apply, does not hold as long. Go with pre-cut contur C supertape instead.

This tape is very difficult to work with. When you put the tape either on your hairline or on the lace wig, you cannot peel the top layer of the tape; it is almost impossible. If you do succeed, you then have the sticky part of the tape rolling up and disintegrating. It does not have a good hold. I will try another tape next time. Better yet, I will be using a glue for my lace wigs.
I bought two of these heads to hold the wigs I got to use while I go through chemotherapy and grow my hair back. I was a little concerned they might overbalance, being taller than the usual wig head, but I wanted the taller style because my wigs are collarbone length and I didn’t want them dragging and deforming on the shelf. The head bases are heavy enough to keep them upright (except possibly in the face of earthquakes or cats), and I think I’ll use them as hat stands when I can pack the wigs away. They’re not high style display heads, but they’re a step above the usual styro heads, and as I said, great to protect the styling of longer wigs.
