This product has only “one laser diode” split in 9 beams through a plastic mirror, in other words, the efficacy of this device is diminished by having this kind of disposition.

The Hairmax is using diffuse light principle to regrow hair and by doing this you are working with unfocused energy, this energy is weaker. In this case you can solve this problem when you choose a device with “multiple diodes instead of one diode” reflecting many laser beams.

Just in case, I used the Hairmax Premium for 16 months…

My best regards, Mr. Martorella.

What are the best HAIR LOSS Treatments?
So, I’m losing hair on the top front of my head. My mother’s side of the family has many bald people. Started at 21 yrs and now at 22 I can see some skin through my hair. So, what best to solve this?1) Rogaine….but eliminated this option because I hear it knocks off your hair then regrows a “weak” set of hair.2)Propecia…I heard it had sexual sideffects so haven’t done it but…might try it since it has the least amount of hassle (I am not one to keep a scheduled control of treatment). Now, what bothers me are the “side effects”. I hear enlarged Hair Loss Set breasts (barely)…what else? What are the sexual sideffects? Also, I hear from the video that it works mostly on the vertex and the mid section. I have a problem with the top front and a little bit (maybe) of the mid. WILL THIS MEDICINE WORK ON ME? Does hair fall off??3) http://www.scalpmed.com/mens/index.htmlHow effective? Doesn’t knock hair off? Which is best for my type of hair loss. I have curly and am hispanic.yeah…shaving…before that, I would like to at least try to remedy (even if temporarily only) this condition.I know Rogaine WILL knock out your hair before you grow any new one…so I’ve ruled it out totally. I wanted to know if Propecia or that other product (the one linked to) did this. Also, how long do these treatments work for? I hear that Rogaine sometimes stops working after 2 – 3 years. Do these other products stop working after a while (sometimes)?Any products that work for hair loss (in the top front and mid section) ?…even if I didn’t mention it?Once I’m using one of hte products…can I switch to another product? So, I won’t shave (at least, not until the summer).I won’t get surgury (too expensive)..THANKS FOR ANY HELP IN ADVANCE

I tried this for 6 months and found out that I had wasted $450. This is a product sold to people that hope to prevent hair loss and are gullible enough to pay this kind of money for it. Further more, the device started going off intermittently as the application was proceeding — when I checked with the terms of the warranty it said that I have to mail it in (who knows when one would have seen it back again) there was not a phone number to call the manufacturere and the warranty sheet said that it was only good for one year. $450 and a warranty that is only good for one year? having problems after 6 months? No phone number to call? no service representative? As I said I sincerely believe that this device was made to cash in on people’s hope and it would not worth even $10 — and I believe that the people who are selling it figured that if you put a high price on it, many people would think that it must be some sort of an effective gadget that is worth this much — by the time they figure out that they were had, the sellers are laughing somewhere in Hawaii!!!.

I purchased the HairMax LaserComb back in the beginning of January as my new year resolution to deal with my hair loss problem. It has been 3 and a 1/2 month since then, I now really see the results!

    Two recommendations:

    1. Be consistent – stick to the plan. 15 minutes every two days for dealing with the frustration hair loss issue? Totally worthy! I personally also take those 15 minutes as the time for mind relaxation, I usually use the comb before my bedtime, I really calm me down. Remember my friend, being frustrated is one of the reasons of hair loss

    2. I use it combined with the use of the 101 hair follicle nourishing, a Chinese brand tonic. Hair loss is not the end of the world to me, loosing sexual drive or damaging liver is (by using the oral drugs), therefore, I chose the non-invasive HairMax LaserComb. The 101 hair tonics really go with it. I use the comb first, as indicated in the instruction – don’t block the laser, then applying the tonics.

My wife says I did have some new hairs coming out, I personally feel that the hairs are more manageable and I totally feel much less hair fall out during shampooing.

I will continue using it and can’t wait to see the results in couple more months.

I have very little good to say. It does not and will never treat “hairloss” so save your money. Its ridiculously expensive for what it is and very cheaply made too. If anything, I had to have my hair cut more because it grew faster…..but NO EXTRA HAIR!!!!! Dont be conned.

They told me at Lexington that if I stopped using it, my hair would revert to how it was before using the Lasercomb and could be much worse. So you “can never stop once you start”. This is rubbish too. My hair is fine and i stopped using it over a year ago.

Its not a hairloss treatment and never will be. I’m sorry people but there is NO cure until gene therapy is more mainstream. SAVE YOU MONEY AND DEAL WITH THE TRUTH! At least for now once its gone…..its gone.

We paid a lot more than $400 for the comb when it first came out more than 5-7? yrs ago. If your hairs are just about all gone, this is not going to help you get them back. But if you start on Rogaine + the comb at the first sign of serious hair loss, you will get to keep somewhere around 75% to 90% of what you have right now. BTW–don’t buy store brand/generic Rogain, they don’t work as well as the real stuff.

I have used this Nioxin product for about 7-8 years. The price was really excellent. I received the product in very short order. I am totally satisfied

I don’t usually write reviews but I must take the time to say Nioxin has been working for me. I have shoulder length hair that has always been fine in texture. Since I started back to school the stress was causing me to lose a noticeable amount of hair in the brush or after shampooing. I also have a mild receding hairline. My husband thinks I’m nuts to be using this product for hair loss because in his mind I have plenty of hair and you can’t tell I’ve lost any. But I could notice and so did my hairstylist who recommended this product. She uses it herself and has recommended it to many of her clients. I’ve been using it for about 4 months shampooing and conditioning 1/week and immediately started noticing changes. My hair seemed coarser right away. At first my scalp did a lot of shedding of flaky dandruff which was worrisome but once that process was over (maybe after 2-3 shampoos) my scalp looks really healthy and has no dandruff. The shampoo is great and feels like it gets your hair and scalp really clean. I’m African American and was concerned about how it would work on my hair but I no longer use any grease on my scalp and my hair looks and feels healthy. I wonder if the initial flaking had to do with years of greasing my scalp. Not only have I noticed my hair seems to have more volume, great weight and swing to it but there also seems to be regrowth around the hairline, not a lot but some and I’ve only been at it 4 months. The conditioner is definitely only a scalp conditioner. It will not do much to condition your hair strands and I’ve gone back to using my regular conditioner on my hair because my hair seemed to be drying out. But that has it back in wonderful condition. At work I’ve had two people ask me if my hair just suddenly grew a lot and give compliments. So I’m inclined to believe Nioxin is the main difference.

Excellent transaction. Received timely and in advertised condition. I would do business with this seller again.

I made a mistake and ordered the wrong series number for my wife. I was able to return the incorrect order, and had the correct product in less than a week. Very fine example of customer serice!
