It is the right length from what I can tell, but it seems like more hair is getting caught in the blades with this attachment on as opposed to my previous one. I’ve made sure to oil the shaver too. It’s gotta be a bit of a fit issue. Can’t really complain too much for a couple bucks.

And FYI, it’s black, not red.

What Would I have to do to get my hair black again?
ok so here’s the thing, i bleached part of my hair four times to get it to a white then i dyed it a semi Four Part Hair permanent electric blue. But my school doesn’t allow multi coloured hair. Can i dye over the blue with just a PERMANENT black hair dye or would i have to go through the process of buying a reddish brown to put some pigment into my hair, just in case it turns green or fades? thanks. 10 points best answer

This issue was my own fault but I did not realize the S&H charge was about $8+. (The oil itself only cost about $2). Other than the high S&H, it is a good product. I’ll need to check S&H charges more carefully in the future since it somewhat ruined the savings cost issue.

It pays to keep your clipper blades lubricated “after” you have cut hair and are preparing to store your clippers. Put a small amount of the Oster Clipper Blade Lube/Oil on the blades and then turn the clippers on for a few seconds to spread the oil over all the blade surface. The oil will cling to the surface and keep your blades from rusting or pitting until your ready to use the clippers again. The “lack” of lubrication allows the blades to pit and/or rust, causing the blades to pull or pinch the hair on your next hair clipping procedure. The bottle has a large quantity of Lube/Oil at a very reasonable price. Protect your clipper investment.

even more important would be to use their cleaner/solvent on your blades which doesn’t build up and gets all the hair and oil off.

If you’re new to Brazilian waxing, I would bypass this and go straight to the salon.
If you’re an expert at getting them–then you’ll probably love this product.

I fit into the former description, so I’m not a fan.
The kit consists of a tub of microwaveable wax that you pop into the microwave for about 15-60 seconds, depending on how full the container is. The jar contains enough for about 3-6 waxes depending how much work you need done. It also contains two spatulas and some oil that is supposed to be rubbed on before applying the wax, to prevent it from sticking to your skin.

You apply the wax with the spatula in small patches, wait for the wax to harden (about 20-30 seconds), and use your fingernail to “flick” one end up to provide a tab to pull with, and the rip the wax off in the opposite direction of growth. The package comes with three kits (three jars, six spatulas, three oils), so there’s enough for several months’ worth of waxing.

All-in-all, the kit is very straight forward and, in itself, there wasn’t really anything negative I have to say about it. It does grab almost every single hair in a single pull.

However, as the title of this review suggests, this isn’t for the squeamish or newbies–unless you have a high pain tolerance. Now I’m no wimp, I have several tattoos and microdermal anchor piercings–so I like to think my pain tolerance is pretty darn high. But I couldn’t tolerate this after about three waxes on myself. By the fourth wax, I chickened out and ended up using a pair of scissors to pull it off myself because I couldn’t deal with the pain.
I’ve never had a Brazilian in my life and don’t know what prompted me to start with an at-home kit (I figured, I do eyebrow waxing on myself, how much more could it hurt?)

I will have to work up some major guts to try this again.

    Some negatives:
    - Because you have to apply this directly to your skin (there are no strips), it’s difficult to control. It applies unevenly, there’s no way to get nice even applications, and then there’s the added dripping of wax all over the place.

    - There’s only two spatulas per jar. As stated, you can get several applications per jar, but there’s only enough spatula’s for two applications. You could reuse the spatulas, but after awhile the wax builds up on the handle and makes the already difficult to control wax, even more difficult to control.

    - The earlier part mentioned about using your fingernail to “flick” the edge up to use as a grabbing tab to yank with, if you don’t apply the wax heavily enough for your nail–you’ll have nothing to grab on to. So it’s a constant struggle to get everything on evenly (or as evenly as possible), and then make sure there’s a thick tab for you to hang on to as well.

But if you’re a waxing expert, the above probably won’t phase you. Good luck

This product is a definite keeper. No one sells this anymore in Georgia (trust me, I checked-Surgi doesn’t even know) and no other product removes hair as quickly and completely. I tried other things for 2 months and caved in to Amazon. I’m glad I did though! Only people who wax could truly understand the frustration.

I bought this product, after I waxed at a salon for about 4 years now and I just got to tired of paying $60+ and decided to try to do it myself. I didn’t think that one jar would be enough for 1 setting but it was…of course it’s not pain free but it was not worse than it was at the salon, actually the wax was way better. At the salon the used strips, which pretty much took away the first layer of my skin, I was in pain for the next 2 days and my private parts were swollen, but not with this wax. The struggle for me was, that because I was so nervous, my body heat made it hard for the wax to get hear, but after I calmed down, it was fine. I had to go back to the microwave 2 more times…I can so recommend this product, I will definitely order it again…

Exelent product. This is the best wax I have ever used. The best thing is that it comes with an oil so that it does not stick to your skin. Also there is no need to use paper to remove the wax.
